Pine(tm) --a Program for Internet News & Email-- is a tool for reading,
sending, and managing electronic messages. It was designed specifically
with novice computer users in mind, but can be tailored to accommodate the
needs of "power users" as well. Pine uses Internet message protocols
(e.g. RFC-822, SMTP, MIME, IMAP, NNTP) and runs on Unix and PCs.

PNG : format d'images
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) est un format d'image qui offre un très bon taux de
compression. La plupart des navigateurs savent l'afficher. De plus, il est libre de
droit.
The PNG graphics format was defined during 1995-96 to overcome the
problems with the copyright issues of GIF. The compression of PNG
(where all the copyright issues started with) is based on the zlib
algorithms from Mark Adler e.o., which is free software donated to the
public domain.
